On Wednesday Bobby called me and told me of an opportunity to pitch a music video for a band called Fences. Friday afternoon I was in the Fuzed offices chatting with them about a few different ideas for said video. In that meeting we learned it would be a fairly tight turn around so we left that day and got to work. We were rolling cameras the following Wednesday.
This piece was made by Bobby McHugh who produced it as well as dressed sets, made food, and sang songs for us when we were feeling down. Christian Sorensen Hansen acted as the director figure and also made the title card and a mildly funny joke here and there. Lauren Alexandra Wang brought a wonderful sense of style to the art direction as well as serious good times. Nothing could have been done without Ryan Enkema who harvested trees, processed footage, drove everywhere for us, made coffee, and he even provided the location. Rylan Morris Scherer operated and took care of cameras and helped in art department when needed. He also put on records for us to listen to while were were shooting. Coty James helped light the movie, operated a camera, and was an all around cool dude always. The third camera was operated by Miles Burnett who also took care of said camera, making sure it were safe and happy. Chris Mansfield is quite the gentleman and was there appearing on camera from time to time, this was his song. The video was edited by Stephan Gray who also has incredible affinity for Teriyaki.
A portion of this video aired on E! Channel and will soon be found on the front page of Myspace.
